What is your favorite jig pole to use? Sam Heaton, Wohali, Crappie Maxx, etc. I love filling that thump and looking to get a new one or two or twenty. Which rod can you hold all day but also has enough backbone to pull that slab in the boat?

I have a 10ft rear seat ozark! I have been fishing with them for years and absolutely love them. I have tried several others and always go right back to the ozark! It has been the best rod I ever bought for single pole jig fishing!
Sam Heaton are junk the only poles I have found that can handle big crappie are bnm brush cutter and the crappie maxx you can leave that other junk at the house now when I jig fish I like to sling them in the boat no net for me. I like a heavy pole with lots of backbone.
B & M Bucks 12' rear seat jigging poles, are nice. Feel the slightest thump.
I like my rear seat 11' Ozark when I jig fish, but I'm definitely no expert at it.
BnM 12' BGJP's is what I 2 pole with. Small mini baitcasters for reels, to keep things light and balanced.
I agree with the earlier statement concerning the Sam Heaton rods. I snapped 2 different rod tips while setting the hook.

Todd Huckabee Meat dragger and pro series is all I use. After using some my friend had I went and bought several for myself. I love them they are light and very sensitive. With the meat dragger you can flip a 2 pound crappie in the boat without even reeling it in.
BnM Duck Comander double touch 11 ft. I sold my sam heatons and my brushcutter
B&M rear seat 12 foot ultra light unless I'm in the cypresses I use a 9 footer
Ozark rear reel in 10 foot. Love it.

Slater's Crappie D Light or BnM Brush Cutter.
12' grizzly rear seat. Grizzly jig sells them. About 40 bucks.
BnM 14 BGJP, tough as nails in the pads. Snag a pad, just rip hooks out or break line, never worry about the rod.
Rear seat 11' Sam Heaton. Very light, well balanced, and sensitive.

12 ft. Sam Heaton.
14 foot Southern Crappie trolling pole is the best I have used, stout, good tip and not any heavier than any of the long poles. Thinking about ordering me a 12.
I'm partial to Outlaw rods. They are a little pricey but almost indestructible. I've been using B&M Sam Heaton's for a year and really like them as well
In close in trees...9.5 Grizzly Elite, when I'm in the front...11 ft Bucks best ultralite rear seat, and Ozark 11ft. Rear seat...In the back of the boat, I use a 12 ft Grizzly Elite
Just got a 10 ft Duck Commander double touch. Can't wait to try it out. I have a 10 Sam Heston I like but going to need a net but I like how lite it is. Got 3 of the old Wally marshal signature series from bass pro that are tough. I'm going to talk Slabbin into taking me and when I do I'm rigging up my 7 1/2 ft all star flipping rod that way I can sling em in the boat.
11' Ozark rear seat.I pulled about a 10lb. slimer out of a lay down one day with it.Real light tip but has plenty of bone also!
12ft or 10 ft wally mashall sig.
