Warren Cotton and I went a few weeks ago. He caught 1 in his boat and we had 2. That may not mean much coming from my boat, but if Warren didn't get em with his Sardis knowledge and guiding experience then I don't know what else to say.Quote:

Last couple years been tough. I will be spending most my time at Enid and Grenada. Fished them this past fall it was 10 times better than last couple years at Sardis. Grenada is a beast now I know why it keeps producing quality fish and numbers. Stumps for days.
Anybody got any bright ideas why Sardis isn't prodicing while the others are? My guess is they been taking lessons from big foot on how to play hide and seek!

Bad spawn years and the 11 inch rule wiped it out .

Naw, people are spoiled, Sardis has been a mass producing lake for a while and when the fishing gets tuff folks don't like it. Not my choice either but it never has been even when it was the hottest thing in the country, but I caught the best fish I caught last fall out of Sardis, period.
I think had it stayed 12 inch rule it would be better fishing now .

sardis will bounce back....i remember 2013 and 2014 I had some nice times over there
It did not help, she's a great fishery, be good again and is not bad now to me. I only fish it when we have a tourney so not catching a ton of 12 inch fish doesn't bother me, just looking for 7 solid fish.Quote:

They are there. Average size of keepers and big fish is good. The fish I've caught there are healthier than the fish I've caught anywhere else over the last year. Finding them and catching numbers, has been difficult.Quote:
