Got out on the lake at 9am. Tried shallow 15-20 Dow with no luck. Marked fish at 30ft in 45fow and caught 2x 15" crappie. Fished another location in 28-32 fow and caught 10 more. All but one was at least 12". Got to the landing and saw three young teens fishing from dock who were trying to catch crappie for dinner. Have them my days catch. Ran home for dinner before we head to the Pam tillis concert tonight in Sumter. Attachment 257937

Glad you had a good day. It had to be cold out there this morning, was it crowded? Hey I should here something this weekend from my buddy. We just changed buildings again yesterday. I haven't seen him the last few days. Thanks for the report and pics. Y'all have fun tonight at the concert.

thanks for sharing the report and photos, this don't have anything to do with your post, but thought sense you guys are from sc that you or someone reading your report may know the name of a crappy grub I've been trying to find, it is a curly tail grub, the color is garnet and black, some guys from sc call it the Gamecock grub, do any of you guys know the company that sells it or where I can buy them. thanks in advance for any info

Looks like I'm leaning towards hitting wateree for the first time on Saturday. 1/2 hour closer for me. Probably put in at state park and head up from there. Ill post my results.
