What are you guys using for jigheads? The Big box store jigheads are aweful and the guy I used to get my jigheads from stopped making them. Any suggestions on custom jigheads? Deep ledge jigs are out, like the design but hate the lightwire hook. Appreciate any input!
Look on ebay. Lots of choices for bulk. I strictly use only Sickle Hook jigs now. Much better hook up rate.

I've been using insider jig heads with #2 hooks for tubes from Slabdaddy on here. I've bought 1/16 and 1/8 ounce sizes from him a few times. He does good work and good customer service. I tend to use heavier heads in the 1/4 ounce range though for the type of fishing I like, mainly DLJ and RR's. I really like those profiles.

Just got I. To making my own jig heads for about $140. Now I can make my own using whatever hooks and components I want. Plus it gives you something to do in the winter!
