Those are nice work Shu. I'll have to tie some more up like I used to tie and post em back. I use a head made for plastics and cut the barb off the collar sometimes and it gives a little more weight with a smaller profile. Good stuff you posted, for sure. I like the Mallard Flank, changed the look some. Skiptomylou ties with the leftover from the hackle feather cut into 1/4" sections and look like a V. Use 3 or 4 of those like you use the bucktail and they have a similar look with more action. I'll tie a couple of those too.

Vic, They do catch fish. I've never tied some exactly like those but mine were close and always did a good job. Funny how little differences make a big difference sometimes.

Haven't fished Harris chain since the bass boat jam but that's all right the info in the paper is old when the ink dries. Finally found the stuff to tie a few more jigs. The above pic is one I thought had been posted but had problems with windows 10 and forgot about it. Catch a bunch, think it's time for a nap.--shu
