St Johns Water Basin Low?

Is the St Johns river really shallow right now? Is that normal this time of year? When will it get deeper?

Yes it is low. Should rise when spring and summer rains start.

It's real low want to lake harney today had hard time getting a cross sand bar to get in the lake I have never seen it like that

Lowest I've seen in a while, there is dry ground in several areas where I've caught fish before.

I need to get over there and chase some snipe.

It's really low right now, my fishing camp is off Dunns Creek and the canal out to it is really shallow now. The sandbar just north of Murphy creek is an Island out there. Got another month of dry season to go too

River flowing south yet?

Still flowing north but very slow.

Hopefully the ole girl keeps going. Turns south and might as well hang it up till the rain comes.

As soon as we get a north wind it will start flowing south.

Low river = good bream fishing.... Looking ahead to a great year. Ain't nothing like a slam and a fight of a big cracker

Well rooster island has no cypress knees in water, all mud banks. The creek I caught all them warmouth in last year has no wood left in water all mud banks. The flats I fish around cypress on the river all about 10' from water line to knees. Did not even venture into Dutchmens Bend but I am preyy sure it would be mud banks too.
