When I type a response to a thread and click "Submit Reply", my post does not immediately show up.
I have to leave the thread and then reopen the thread before I can see the post I've made.
Is this happening to anybody else?

SO noted my self. I have even lost posts to threads that I know I posted. Thought it was "big brother" here at work watching me. I spend my lunch time reading Crappie.com to relax a bit.
Mine too, it only shows once I refresh
Happened to me several days ago. Back to normal now:dono
Yup! I just check new post when that occurs.
Happens to me, can't edit either
Don't know if it will help, but - have you guys checked your profile to see if this has been checked :

You'll find it under General Settings, then scroll down towards the bottom of the listed options.
Also, in the past, updates - upgrades - and some changes to the site have caused problems for random members. I've even heard of some problems being caused by the use of certain OS's or Browsers (and possibly even some apps). :scratchhead
I'm no 'puter guru ... so I will alert Slab of this thread and see if he can help straighten things out.

noticed it myself as well
I have had it to happen before also. Slab, what happens is the reply does not post and it will set there like it is trying to post. Once I leave the thread I am trying to post in my reply is posted as last post when looking at the thread from the state home page. It doesn't happen to me a lot and I use Chrome.
Just talked to the boss......we will be going to a new server plus upgrading the site software sometime next week .....hopefully this should take care problems .

Yes all of the time.
I've read about a lot of the different problems people have on here. I use Firefox and' "knock on wood" I haven't had any of them
