What jigs and jig heads do you guys like to use. Brand and go to colors? I'm wanting to stock up the jig box on different colors. Btw I just found the wife's credit card.

About anything of there with Chartreuse Midsouth Tackle⢠- Products
crappie logic (on site) Bobby Garland , and J and L tackle(wallysjigs.com) are 99 % of what I use .pink/ pearl/BLUE ,CHART./ PURPLE/ CHARTREUSE, BLUE BLUE/CHARTREUSE , in hair jigs or rubber .Bobby Garland baby shad (most) favorite patriot on pink head . J/L (M.R kEEL)grey ghost .
I have become a big fan of the bobby garland jigs! They have alot of colors that i really like and produce well for me. Strollrs slab slayers and the baby shads. I also like southern pro's umbrella jigs. Large profile and good colors! I have all kinda other jigs that i like too strike kings got alot, panfish assassin, southern pro. I use several different jig heads I use the bobby garland jig heads, bonehead tackle has some nice ones with sickle hooks, and I had some of the bug eye jig heads make with sickle hooks from bugman that are awesome!

Tubes: 90% of my box is Southern Pro. Umbrella Jigs and 2-2.5" lil' hustlers.
Solid body: Bobby Garland baby shads and strollr's. Strike King's Slab Slay'rs are becoming a fast favorite too. I've had one tied one for months now. Charlie Brewer Sliders are old standbys that are just plain magic somedays. True serial killers!
Hair jigs: Crappielogic pretty much exclusively. I hear Meatgetter does great work too.
I have maybe every color under the sun, but I own everything in at least black/chartreuse if you catch my drift. Anything chartreuse and anything orange are hard to be wrong with, too.
Individual results may vary :)

Mid south tube jigs, Bobby Garland and meatgetter jigs, lots of Chartreuse and pink head. Have just about all colors.

I like the litewire jigs from one of our members. You can bend the hook with out messing up the structure and get back to fishing
Doesn't hurt to have several color jig heads but orange is hard to beat. As far as skirts go I agree with coach. As long as it has a chartreuse tail and a orange tail you will do good.
I think I have tried them all but I have just a few colors
that I fish most of the time. Doesn't hurt to have a little of all colors but you will find the color combo you like that you catch fish on.

Hmmmm. Let me see. Everything and Chartreuse. [emoji4]
Umbrella tubes
Magnum solid body umbrella tubes
2.5" Capps and Coleman tubes
Stinger Shad
Etc.
dont forget to throw a few road runners in there two.
MidSouth tackle for tubes and Bobby Garland are what I use. As the others have said blk/chrt, red/chrt, anything with orange for the tube jigs and Threadfin shad, Blue Thunder, cajun cricket, Monkey milk. All of these have worked for me lately. Also I have gone almost exclusively to orange or pink jig heads.
Russell gates makes some awesome stuff also bug man at simply crappie.com makes some as well
AND, Donnie you're very gracious!! Folks, Mr. Donnie makes some killer stuff too. Jus sayin.
I got lucky and just got a few Gates roadrunner style jig heads before he stopped filling orders. Guess he just does them during winter months but has started back up fishing now. Like Bill said they are awesome!!
I don't have any of donnies thread necks but if they are anything like the gnats they are awesome! No tackle box is complete without em!
Rattleye Jig Heads :: Southern Pro Tackle
Bout the only jig head I use......Something about the rattleeye that I can't get away from. There are some cheaper one's out there, but I was hoping my Southern Pro connection could hook me up!! :dono
Got to have some Bobby garland blue ice .
