there's a small show at Franklin this weekend at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. It may be a small show but Ray does a great job of pulling it together.
Usually see more about it on here than I have this year.
seems the "sport shows" are shrinking up. attendance has been so low, last several years, that vendors dropping off like flies. i think feb 16 or so for the ft wayne show.
63rd Inpls Boat Sport & Travel Show, Feb 17-26, 2017, 26th Annual Motorcycle Expo ajoining Sports show in Expo Hall, Feb 17-19, 2017, 20th Annual Deer, Turkey, & Waterfowl Expo, in Expo Hall Feb 23-26, 2017 adjoining Sports show 2nd weekend. Attendance in 2016 was exceptional and all but record breaking. You can get advance sale tickets on line at Renfro Productions and they have alot of new exhibits in all shows this year. Expansion of RV and Boats in Coliseum first weekend only. Lists of guest speakers will be on web sometime next week for all 3 shows. All Shows located at the Indiana St. Fairgrounds in 7 buildings attached to each other over 750,000 sq. ft. of exhibitors space.

that's mostly boat RV and vacation show hardly any sport left in it anymore. I used to go every year but outside of the fishing seminars there wasn't much else for the fishermanQuote:

Thanks for the replies, things have went down hill here in ohio too, they getcha in the parking lot or at the door for a bunch of nothing!
Chicago had a nice one last weekend
Lousivilles sucked. 1 Tackle booth, touchdown worms,,the old reliable if your a bassfisherman. 2 companies showing kayaks did have some rods and reels but that was it. Grizzly Jig is the show to go to if your a crappie fisherman. Everything imaginable for a crappie fisherman. Awesome show and Awesome tackle business.

I quit going to the Louisville show years ago, I don't need a gutters or a set of kitchen knives. But for those of you that went (and they don't advertise this) But if you didn't sign up for the magazines as you walk in, and you saved your ticket stub. You can go online to the site on the ticket and get refunded they admission money you paid to get in. I've done it every time I've went.

I got in the Boat and Sport show free as they honored my vet I.D. and company I work for pays me to visit trade shows and covers all expenses and heading to Harrisburg NRA show in PA Sunday. Rough job but somebody has to do it.rotfl
