Need to add the "i" in your link. Great technique! Good luck, Sirs!
Congratulations, Rich & I have been using this technique for years up here in Mass. Ref. our articles in the New England Forum. Although we do not use a trolling motor, we use the wind as power and the results are the same (great method).
Good read
Wow! Thanks for sharing the side pulling "how to" information and pictures.
Enjoyed the article. Sure makes me want to give it a try.
my 14ft john is set up to side pull for crappie.
Informative read. Like pulling with the wind from my yak too.
Good story. very informative
saw bill dance do this on KY lake many years ago and it makes sense as you get a good spread of lines out and people across boat have equal chance to score. Nice setup and information on what they are going after and why.
This technic works very well in shallow lakes in Fla.(10-15Ft)...minus the trolling motor, when the wind picks up & the trolling motor is hard to control, you can drift sideways & throw road-runners over the side & the rocking affect of the waves creates strikes when the baits zip up from the bottom after the fall....call it Rocky-Top...anyways that's a nice boat set-up & good to know for a deep water application as well...
Thanks for the info.
