The bassmasters tournament was on the entire Harris Chain . This just pic from their website when a lot of the boats were going into griffin at the same time. lol

Dang, wonder where we woulda placed. Caught this last week while all those speedsters were pre-fishing. More boats than I ever seen on Griffin.
that's what you call a pileup! looks like LA traffic on sunday afternoon, a real mess!
I don't know how many times I seen those speedsters fly by me while they are texting! They ought to have a rule about that. I think I'll add that to my sig, "NO TEXTING WHILE DRIVING BOAT".

I can hardly text while not doing anything else. By the way, that was the Southern Open. Had a few elites fishing it, but is typically one tier lower than the elites. Had a friend fish as a co-angler. (amateur/ back of the boat). He was 9th after the first day, and finished 43rd. His first big event. He and my SIL have done quite well locally fishing together. A number of wins and a lots of paychecks. Also, the Bassmaster Classic will be next month on Lake Conroe, Tx. Weigh ins and spectacle will be in Houston.
