Does anyone know what color the old Mississippi jig was?
White head, chart body, and orange tail is what ive known. Im sure any combination of those colors could be called a Mississippi jig.
Homecrappie is correct. First jig I ever used and probably the best.
Never heard of this before, reckon I need to do some research...

Homer crappie and Tbone are 100 percent correct....main body is chartreuse colored chenille type body/ orange kip tail.
I just may have to try my hand at a couple of those. Need to get me some orange bucktail first. Got everything else.
A picture please if anyone has one.
Looks like candy corn. That's how I remember them.
