Went to check out Grenada this past weekend. That was the lowest I'd ever seen it. It was really cool to see. Got to ride around the edge and see a bunch of mats and creeks. The highlight of the weekend was tearing up a big steak at Como!

Thanx for posting! They obviously are nor done with the dam work as of yet,
or is that what they call winter pool?
Winter pool, happens almost every year unless we have a really wet fall.
Grenada looks like a desert but the steaks look mighty fine.
Nice photos thanks, and to think it about 5 - 6 more weeks (lord willing with the rain) they will pulling 2lb - 4lb hogs out of that desert where your standing. Still wondering where Grenada keeps that crappie cloning device :scratchhead
Looks like the National Training Center, Fort Irwin, CA. Interesting pics. Thanks for sharing.
Those last steaks look waaaay better than the first stakes. [emoji23]
Hope to get over there one day and fish. It's on my bucket list and now that I've seen those steaks that's on my bucket list also. It will have to be in the next couple years because I am getting up in age and not able to go like I used to,but if I came I wouldn't know where to start.
You can't beat the fishing. I love my time there every year. Como is always on the agenda. My wife who is barely 110 dripping wet will absolutely tear up a bone in rib-eye when we go.
Never noticed that before, but you are right. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...9a75038965.jpg Wonder where OPFOR is hiding?

Where is Como? Man them steaks look good.
Como is actually the exit you use to go to Holiday Lodge. It's the Northern most exit to Sardis off of I-55. Go west off of the Como exit until you cross the railroad tracks and hang a right. It'll be about half way down the square on the left. You'll see the balcony hanging out towards the road.
Como has 4 restaurants. Mexican, Thai, Steakhouse, and Windy City Grill which serves gourmet pizza, great pastas, burgers, pork chops, steaks, etc. Windy City is owned by the same people that own the steakhouse. Good eats at both of these places. Haven't tried the Mexican or Thai. The spicy seafood pasta is killer at Windy City. The fried portobello mushrooms are their signature appetizer, and are really good with the blue cheese dressing on them.
Check out BRM. Not only does he sell boats he could work for the The Food Channel. Love it.
Dang those steaks look good.
