I 'll get started on finding things out. I 'll check at greens port , and the rv park in town, they have listed 50 sites for rv's and 50 for tents. I 'll check hotel prices between the two, and around town. Rainbow landing on 77, the dam , and the ramp in Gadsden will be best to launch for most. Not for sure about canoe creek ramp, have to check. I 'll be more than happy to help in any way I can. Anyone have any questions, just shoot me a pm.
I have a fish cooker and grill that's propane and portable
If we get a head count on how many will make it, I might be able to get a spot on the water to get together one night and have a cook out, camp fire etc.
I got a fish cooker and plenty propane bottles. Will be glad to do what else I can to help . I be coming down on 30th - staying till Saturday evening the 1st. Probably in a tent
Cowboy shoot me a PM with your phone number and when I can call you tomorrow.
Aight. Hope y'all are thinking and planning for a great camp. It'll be good to see some new faces and fish with them.
Lee, I am 95% on attending. I just need to find lodging.
Lee, a small suggestion. Do a head count post and a separate food item post. I am making this a sticky for y'all
Don't guess I will make it to the crappie camp,I have plans for a trip to lake Talquin Florida.around that time frame,it all depends on my fishing partner.Hope everyone has a good time and please post pics
I'll likely not make the front end of the trip with work getting in the way. I plan on taking time off to fish a tournament at Mitchell the following weekend.
The wife and I will try to be there. We can bring a desert and some other stuff. I will announce this at our tournament so club members of Coosa River Club will know about this also.
I be their Thursday - Saturday Will help with what we need when we figure out what we doing.
I will be there unless something unforeseen occurs
Sorry Guys Due to the fact that we are building a new house I am not going to help with the planning of the camp. but I will still be able to come .
Anybody else local that can help organize
I'll be on travel Friday, but should be able to make it in for Saturday!
Nobody but cowboy is local? We need a few to step up and help him.
If we don't have support. Let's entertain just meeting there Saturday and cooking with fellowship. We can do a day trip then.
I'm 1:30 hr north of their but be glad to do what I can
Day trip is very doable! Probably will get more participation that way.
I'm 20 minutes from Nelly Henry but that's the only weekend I can't make it. If you need some help in will be glad to help Lee but I will not be attending.

If I can get a list of thing that needs to be done I 'll get started. I have info on 9 hotels , found a new camp site out by 59 I'm going to check on. Going to check at the falls also. There are pavilions at rainbow landing, going to check on those, and in town at the park. I just need info on what needs to be done. I need a list, so I have an idea. I'm willing to take care of thing here, not a problem.
If yall are going to do a one day get together why not just go eat at top'of the river.

I will be glad to help...just give me a heads up!
Nobody has even signed up on the other thread for what to bring except me. Is there bunkhouses or small cabins to rent on the water? It's hard to work the camps outa a hotel. I'm really leaning toward a day trip on my part. We can cook or meet at a restaurant and eat.
Found a couple cabins for rent that will sleep 8. Attachment 257445
Is is this too far out cowboy. It has a huge yard we can entertain at. And it's flat.
Who else needs a room this place has private boat ramp also. Three bedrooms I'm gonna look close at renting this place.
The cabin sounds great!! Not a bad price either.... I'm in Thursday and Friday night will leave out late Saturday evening .
Ok slab prowler is in on cabin. Can I get a few more commitments. This will be a lot more user friendly on us. Doing it this way.
Can't tell , looks like it in Glencoe, not far , that will work.
Cowboy says this will work. I'm gonna attempt to rent this cabin this week. There is still a few beds available , post up or pm me if you need a bed. Thnx.
Cowboy has a few things for door prizes and slab sent me three nice poles for door prizes also. Compliments of crappie . Com
Your in John
To fish the main body of the lake, I'd put in at rainbow landing, the cabin is on the river. Shouldn't be more then a 15-20 min drive.
I can't wait to learn all ya'lls crappie fishing mojo first hand
Looking forward to it my self maybe someone could teach me how to catch some fish. (Lol)
Is the river not navigatable. Cowboy. Or do you think it's quicker to trailer.
