Well went out and endured the gail force winds today and actually wore out the crappie... the stick it pole worked flawlessly on the kayak...no way I would of caught this much in my boat in those conditions... loving the new kayak!Attachment 256288

Good catch that appears to be an oxbow where you are fishing. If so, just wondering if the Asian carp are bad?
This lake is not bad with carp yet... it seems as though all the oxbows that are being over run with Asians the crappie fishing is getting steadily worse and worse.

Sad but true, some great streams and lakes are being destroyed. At first glance of your picture, it appeared to be at Taylor Bay. Again thanks for the story and pictures.
Nice fish! What's your set up on your yak? I've got a pelican saber I've got a fish finder and some rod holders on it so far
Don't have a lot set up yet... I have an anchor trolley system and a crate and 2x4 for a trolling motor but I have to get it registered first... I did buy a 9ft stick it pole and it is a must have...
Oh and it's an ascend fs128t
Attachment 256684 BTW went out today and racked up another mess... really really starting to like this kayaking business
Nice catch again. You keep that up and the kayak sales are going to jump.
Very nice mess of fish are they still deep?
They were actually a lot shallower today... bout 15 inches deep holding close to structure
You are on a roll! Keep after em! :highfive
