I dont need a bigger boat, mine is 18.5, but I want a bigger boat. I think 22 would be better, never got enough room!
Need and want. The 12 ft jon boat is fine for what I do, but I want a longer narrower boat because it will go faster with my Thai longtail outboard. instead of a 1236 jon boat I'd rather have a 1530 or 1632. I'd have to build it myself because no one makes them in those dimensions.
Also for me, I d love more room to have several types of fishing set up,
Drifting if I find perch
Trolling if I see schools
A few shooting rods

thx, brett Where do you get marine plywood?
I'm fine with what I got. I need to sell some junk so I won't try to carry everything with me. Boat might float higher in the water. LOL :highfive
Might have to get it ordered from lumber supplier
Any boat building supplies store has it but it's very pricey,
Regular luan plywood https://m.lowes.com/pd/Lauan-Plywood/3604746
Works too but it has voids and may snap while bending sharply, but it's very water proof
