I think your friend is right. At Cumberland if it has not changed it has different zones and a permit is needed for each zone.
One call, that's all- to be safe!!
Don't know if they're still doing it now , on Cumberland the Corp use to supply anchor materials.
They would even let you cut a big tree if you followed their rules.

I think kfw controls green
Green River Lake is controlled by the Core of Engineers Louisville Division (502)315-6730 or (502)315-6733. There is a COE office located in the park.Quote:
