I'm going to say for me either the end of April or the 2nd weekend of may...will be in no 1st weekend of may
End of April should work for me.
Definitely the Grove will work for me, like the old days!

There is two good possible areas for everyone to camp, Richie Cove Park, and Canning Creek, both have electrical and accessible boat ramps. Richie is just of Highway 177 and Canning is on the far west side of the lake. The telephone # for reservations is 1-877-444-6777 or may go to web at Federal recreation, camping and tour reservation information - Recreation.gov.
I think we need to make a choice as to which one so people can stay in the same campground and get them reserved before it's to late...never been there but heard richey was a better ground...
I'm finding out this is a VERY popular dates and area. Several weekend events at same time as projected 'crappie camp'. I would suggest a camp later weekends. <*)}}}><

If that area is that busy how about moving it to another lake? Such as eldorado?

I see the Kansas Crappie Club is having their camp there on the 6th of May so that would not interfere with what has been suggested??
Seems to be some confusion on why the last weekend of April is busy, or at least for me. Anyone know what all is going on? And hate to be blunt but is there even any interest in having one?

No matter what dates or lake we choose it won't be good for everyone. I am going to suggest either Counsel Grove or Melvern lake and for dates either April 21,22,23 or May 19,20,21. Lets vote on it and go with the majority. I will be glad to help organize it.If some one has other suggestions then throw them out. Some of the OK guys are also interested so the SOONER :) we decide the more participation we will have. If you ae willing to help organize it please let me know.
the mo guys used to get sugg 4 4 or 5 lakes 4 or 5 dates have a set time to vote votes in all done nobody over here seemed to like that idea prolly would not work neb guys might sabb the votes???
I fish all year doesn't matter to me... never fish council grove so that would be my vote... but really matters little to me... ill be happy fishing Eldorado!!! After all Eldorado normally pretty good at end of may
If you don't think a vote will work then I will just throw out Counsel Grove 26, 27, 28 May. There are two lake together we can fish and like laltec I have never fished them either and have been wanting to. Should be warm enough for those wanting to pitch a tent. Open to comments and how many are interested.
