I started at the Flint River off Hobbs Island Road. The water was cloudy, high and swift. Checked Hwy 431, then Little Cove Rd with the same results. Decided to try Hurricane Creek. It was also about 6 inches high, but clear. Not much to report, many, many small gills and bass on a small spinner, but no Crappie. Still a nice day to be on the water.
FYI, water was 48 degrees.

Not surprised I didn't get any Crappie, there's not a lot of Crappie in that creek, but you can catch small gills and bass all day while staying out of the wind.
And I was just kidding ditch.i know how you normally slay them.
Not at all, The might Crappie still humbles me with a zero from time to time. Anyone that says they catch Crappie 365 days a year is lying or using hand grenades, LOL. I was just glad t have a little time to get out.
