All done. Had a great day with great people. Thanks guys. Oh, fishing was good too. A couple doubles. We were kept busy pretty much the whole time. Not big fish, but good fish.

One of those special days of fishing with friends..... Great friends. The bite was good.... Even bagged a 13" and a bunch of 12"ers..... Not a bad day for jessup which isn't known for it's BIG fish..... Note the calm water.... Wind was zilch!

It was an unbelievable day to be on the water, water temp 74 degrees, NO wind, SUN behind the clouds for most of the morning, CALM waters, AND the best of company with SLAB, SHU SPECKANATOR.
Can't ask for any better day. I boated 23 fish, from 8 'ish to 11 inches, only had 4 rods out, I usually have at least 8 out. The way they were hitting it would have been a chinese fire drill working with 8.. the small ones fought like a 13 to 14 inch fish.
You should be slapped and put to your room for showing pics like these.
That's me on the bridge behind you, working my fingers to the bone. So to speak. Y'all stink! Make it harder for a workin man to concentrate while doin the deal.
All that aside----Glad y'all had a good day. It was sure a pretty one and slick as glass. I have long wanted to work the bridge.
looks good there but raining here and 46 degrees, looks like fun
Should have felt like home Slab, Shu, & Caster too...those Jessup fish have that Harris chain color...they're starting a little early this year, I should of snuck a peek at Micah's notes:Rofl...from Black Hammock you guy's were 15 minutes from my front door, but unfortunately it was back to the grind today for me after a mini vacation, sure looked like fun...thanks for the report guys:highfive
Thanks Speckanator for the ride and the great day at another great lake, had promised myself that "no more driving to fish" but have been ruined --its just too much fun to catch fish on 4# test line. Next moon phase its back to the pads, grass, and reeds.--shu
Looks like you guy's were having to much fun, good for yall and great pics thanks for sharing.

A few more pics. See if you can find the anomalies in the last two pics!
Hooked thru the back and a misplaced........vent(for lack of a better word) in the second pic.
Correct on the first one. Unreal that I had to release it because it was illegally snagged! Dang! lol
And the second, you're close. Look at the Shinnee Hinee. And how Flycaster does his rigging! :banghead
That is a bunch of hardware. Seems they don't care sometimes.
Attachment 254647
I use that hardware with all of my jigs. That shinee hinee caught a bunch of fish, tip it with a minnow and good to go!!!!!!!
Looks like a great day----Nothing here----need to be there-
Great post!!:cheers2
Well now looks like I have another lake to try on my list.
Glad all you GOOBERS had a good time.
Now that hurts a man to see a post this good. I am jealous. lol. Y'all did good boys!!!:santa
