I voted the mid Feb. dates. I am going to hopefully have the new and improved crappie combine ready by then.CF
Just vote on a date we don't have a snow/ice storm :O
I second on redboat thinking
I come down and stay in Chesapeake and more then half the time, there are flurries falling the night before our NWR bash. I'm do for a good catching day. I have stunk it up the last 3 years down there.
I'm in for February or March providing I don't have duty or work.
The 11th might be the best day in Feb, based on the Moon phase.
You may be right. The bite was on last year third week of Jan. That was close to the full moon.
All-righty, then. Makes me think of Pizza and Hot Chocolate...
SO if I have this right its on the 11 of FEB.
Lets have a great turn out!!!!!
I am on this.
Im ready!
Was wondering if I could get some more details for the bash. I haven't ever been able to make one and really interested to join in and meet some folks. Thanks in advance and looking forward to a good time.
Pretty simple and informal. Be at Bob's Fishing hole by 8am. Hang out and go fish. If you would like to get into the biggest single perch contest, it is $5. It's optional. Come meet everyone.
Has any one told Dennis at bobs that we are coming there on Saturday?
I just called bob's about Saturday's bash He said come on down there ready .(got minnows.)
If this weather forcast hold, I'm coming down there to whoop up on an old farmer from NC!!!
Bummer. Can't make it again. I have to run a green carp tourney in Suffolk this Saturday. You all should have a great time. Weather is supposed to be awesome. Good luck and be sure to post plenty of photos when it's over.
James and I are glad to have you all coming this Saturday the 11th. I will publish this "as an open tourney" with launch at 8am and weigh in at 3pm. We will stock up on minnows for you all. We are having our crappie tourney on the 12th. So you know we will have plenty of minnows on hand and our crappie lure selection replenished.
It took almost 9#s with an 8 fish limit on our last tourney.
Thanks Dennis. See you Saturday. My partner and I are staying IBNFSHN Bed and Breakfast. Bill and Bosko get up early and fix a mean breakfast omlete for the younger crowd.
I'm out, back is such I can either lay down or stand up no sitting, meeting the cutter Thursday to schedule fusing three vertebrae. Dayton give Farmer another hug for me, just bring a step stool this time so you don't look like a lap dog humping his leg.:Rofl:Rofl:Rofl
Man, just say that you are intimidated by my fishing catching abilities. It's okay. Let it all out. There, there old buddy!
Btw, how long you been picturing Farmer getting his leg humped?

No leg humping on the Farmer. Leg humpers get kicked by Farmers.
