I can't believe with the crappy weather that no one has mentioned spring camp yet!!! Looks like some cold nasty weather the next couple weeks will give people something to talk about to get it planned out.

All ready have vacation planned for May 4th - 8th :biggrin
thought it would be 4/29 and 4/30 wasn't last year 4/30 and 5/1 ?
Good to think about spring camp coming up. I hope to make it this year.
It's always the first weekend in May.

So did I. I set up my vacation Starting May 4-7, 2017
The first full weekend in May will play out better for not having any big tournaments at Bucksaw.
Is that firm on the dates? We decided last year to reserve that double spot across the street from where the tent is usually set up and put the tent on the gravel vs. grass. With the rain and enclosed shelter it sure makes for a muddy mess by the end of the weekend. There was money donated to secure this spot. If those are the dates I'll reserve them both for Thursday - Sunday AM
I plan to take off Wednesday thru Sunday.

See ya there.
Did anyone use the bucksaw motel last year? The reviews at that time scared me off. If I show up without a dd I do not need to venture too far.
Not to worry Richard, between Sheryl and I we will be able to get you wherever you need to go.

From what I hear Joe said the shower house was not to bad to sleep in.....:Rofl
I have stayed there a few times and it was OK. Most of the people there are members and I was given rides by Joyce and Dave. Had a couple others volunteer also. If you are used to high end accommodations you will be disappointed. I stay there because it is close to the ramp and park. The staff is friendly but there is no on duty at night, no wifi except at the marina.
Richard the wife and i stay at the motel , you will have a ride when needed
I do not mind old or used. But clean is what I am looking at.
I have stayed at the motel many times. Nothing fancy but it is clean.
I've stayed a week in a floating room, several over night stays above the restaurant, a week in a cabin and a week in the motel/lodge. All are about the same quality, it is geared to sportmen/women and it shows. It is not up scale, but other than a slight dog smell one time I've never been put off, but I've also been Navy trained to sleep anywhere any time so my level of acceptance might be off. I'd not hesitate to stay in any of their rooms.
Then again, Gordon will spend a day in a boat with me.

Spent 20 years sleeping on or in tanks does not mean I want to do it again. But thanks for the info hoping to make a Truman camp for more than just a few minutes.
The motel/lodge as it were is pretty nice, I have stayed there few times, always friendly, some of the guest tend to follow you back to camp and steal your root beer
So are these dates set? need to put in for vacation, probably be there all week. Come on Spring!!!!!!!
Brian get it turned in.
Jigging 15 if it is set the weekend of May 5th and 6th maybe we should get it on the header of a post.
Can we get a sticky for spring camp May 5 - 7 . General information and B.S. would be great.
