You will just as well look for a new prop and I hope nothing else was bent or warped. Keep a sharp lookout at the foot oil to make sure there is no water contamination getting in it as this type of lick could cause seals to leak also. Not trying to scare you just letting you know what to look for to keep from having some more really big expenses.

Everything checked out good! This is why I run a aluminum prop. If it had been stainless steel I probably wouldn't have been so lucky. New aluminum prop is $105.Quote:

Cotton Springs on the same side of the lake as McDougal never had any issues there.
Never had a problem at Piney Grove or the Marina ramp. Piney Grove is pretty much centrally located too.
