Supposedly we are to get up to an inch. It's not materializing now. Hourly chances jumping from 100 to 15 to 80 to 40 and on and on. Never seen much rain when it's all over the map like that. We really need it just like I know yall do too.

That line just west of the Mississippi looks to be developing into a severe line, have to keep an eye on it.
It's looking bad now! Maybe trouble with this one, high winds and heavy rain.
Wind been terrible here at the house for about 3 hrs. Noon news said its going to get worse this afternoon. Up 60 mph gusts. Had some pretty good drizzle but no real rain so far. That line to the west probably going to stir up a real storm.
Raining like a cow peeing on a flat rock here now, blowing the door open at the office from time to time.
Pretty steady rain coming down now up here. Wind slowed down a little for right now.
We got it good, wind at the shop was a bit skeery earlier in olive branch, but loved the rain.. needed it.

Just finished raining very hard with straight line high winds. Water dripping down my fireplace brick inside. First time that's happened in 38 years. Went outside to check my shingles, ok. Water probably blew in behind flashing. Checked rain gauge, 1 1/2", all in about 30 minutes.
One lucky dude! Our power is out. Bucket truck pulls up to the pole, opens door to get out, boom, big flash. Waits 30 seconds, boom 2nd explosion, 30 more seconds and transformer exploded off the pole. Lord was looking out for him keeping him off that pole.

Wow ..wind was blowing three ft. Pines around in a circle midway up the tree...if nothing snaps, it will be a miracle
I am missing 8 shingles. Got 1.5" of rain, could have been worse. Praise our Lord.
Hit Whitehaven pretty hard. Lots of tree's down and some on houses. Some damage in Millington also. So far all I got is some limbs down.

I woke up, lying in my berth wondering if I was offshore again with some of the rolls we took. We broke a couple of 1" steel cables holding the barges together.

We got 1.75 inches and high winds. It blew shingles off the roof and the house leaked.
2" here too
2" here also. Much needed rain, but way too late for my turnip garden and I didn't even attempt to plant deer food plots this year.
Yellow acorns it is!!!!!

As someone that grew up in Gulfport, I always watch out for you all. Steady rain is better, but any is good after this summer. Stay safe with the numerous strong storm cells...we're gonna get it in Northern Alabama later tonight.
got 1.2 inches yesterday. Hoping to get more today .
Hey John, I never noticed those big crocodile jaws south of you on the map. Do you see em?
Known as Grenada Lake!!
