I have spent a lot of time in that area. I agree on the red beans and rice but most times I get a tall boy and a shrimp poboy. The casino has some good eatin too.

Didn't know there was a casino in Cape. New about one in Caruthersville

Yep, Casino is just about a mile or so north of Broussards on Main street. Really good seafood buffet on Friday and Saturday nights. All you can eat crab legs!!!

We used to go to Brussards at least once a week when we hunted Olive Branch,IL for waterfowl. We took a friend one night who had never been. He ordered crawfish etouffee and when the waitress asked if he wanted it hot, he said the hotter the better. We warned him that was a mistake.He sat there and ate every bite but literally had sweat running down his face. It would suck to have been him the next day.

Best cajun food I've ever had but I've never been to cajun country to have the real stuff.

Yep, Barron Broussard moved here from New Orleans and started the restaurant years ago. Next time you all go, get an order of bread pudding. Your tongue will slap your teeth out trying to get to the next bite. Ask Buffalo13

Never went there without having the bread pudding. Great stuff. Lots of times we would be so full from the entrees we would share an order.
