Those are some fish to be proud of.
Beautiful fish.....they look like they are in spawning colors......of I course I know that is not the case.
Regards
Wow some real slabs there. Very nice.

Good catch
Wow! Nice crappie. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
SOOOEEEEEEE!!! Those are some piggies there. Great catch.
Awesome looking fish there, I can only imagine the other.
Nice fish.
These Black Crappie on the St. Johns water system are some of the most beautiful Crappie anywhere. I don't know if it's the slight salinity of the water, or just the clear spring fed waters. Prolly both. Don't know if'n you all know this, but it's the only river in the USA that runs North, not South.
Biggest crappie I've caught came on a Beetle Spin on an oxbow off the St Johns near Deland.
Great looking crappie -- well done.
Pretty fish and good story
Get him next time.
Great post and pictures Jeff, thanks for sharing.
That sinking feeling that goes with it stays with you a long, long time. Even so, not knowing until you get it in the boat is what makes your heart jump up in your throat. My guess is you'll be after that one again. Hope you get it & share it with us. Good Luck!
