Crappie fishing let's me get away from life and just relax. Plus my kids love those delicious fillets.

The best fish to eat is crappie, whether fresh or frozen from the freezer.

Because it's relaxing.

If I had me some of those Lindy jigs, it just might help me up my catch rate, then I could eat more crappie.

I love the challenge of hunting down the crappIe And the peaceful time on the water.

I think the crappies better have themselves a good feed over these 3 days coming up. The big arctic blow is going to change our world over the weekend with an instant change from lawn mowing to shoveling the white stuff in some locales. Get ready for winter crappies!

The wife likes the fact that I gave up bass fishin and started Crappie fishin and bringing some fish home to eat. So if she is happy, well you know the rest :-)

I like to fish for crappie because there several methods to use base on what ever the weather maybe and it is a good way to introduce grand kids to fishing.

I enjoy the challenge of which color, what depth, what jig style will be the meal ticket of the day.

Because I've met some of the nicest guys out there fishing.

I also like crappie fishing as the results led me to one of my finest skillet creations---Coconut Crusted Crappie. Better than potato chips any day of the week.

It's a sport that is a challenge, with good days and bad days. Unlike golf it just always made me mad,
Crappie fishing just slow down try another spot light a cigar if they bite great if not so what. fishing to me is like a day at a spa relaxing trying out new lures and methods. While the wind is blowing and jet skis fly by I'm still in my zone . Thankful for God Grace and mercy seeing his creation,and also when I find the right brush pile and lift those beautiful little fishes into my ice box

It is also such a thrill in clear water to watch a crappie approach a jig & nibble, open its mouth, flair its gills, and then inhale the jig. It is far more appealing to the eye than to watch me inhale food.
