I start fishing right out in front of the dock and head left in front of the dam. Just go back and forth real slow. Good luck.

I don't know where Crooked Creek is located, but I know that is a fine mess of fish. Congratulations!

About 5 miles NW of Pine Prairie, La. Or, about 15 miles NE of Ville Platte. It's a small open lake with a nice campground on the lake.

Heck I didn't know that lake was even there. Probably not even an hr/hr1/2 drive from Marksville, gonna take a rainy day drive over there to check it out. Allways looking for a new place to fish. Is there a place close by to get shinners?

Yes, The Bait Stand, is right there in Pine Prairie. They open at 6 during the week and 7 on sundays.

Thanks a lot man but my father was being treated in the hospital for an infection the last few weeks and was getting better then as I was getting there Saturday to visit my mom called me for help he started with terrible high blood pressure and as a result slipped into a comma due to a brain tumor on the brain stem and nothing could be done we kept him on the vent till Sunday afternoon and pulled him off as per his wishes but . Thank u for the info we will meet up one day!
