Same place yours were(in the lake). Unfortunatly we didnt have Slab Hunter to actually get them in the boat for us like you did.
You need to drum up a nightstalk with some of that Louisiana crew before the weather warms up and the skeeters get going. We had a blast and plan to make it a monthly thing up here.Quote:

Titelman, thanks for the response, I got a laugh out of that. :D
Great pics guys!:) I'll bet ya'll didn't have any mos...skeeter problems.:)
Looks like a good time. Gooch, I am kinda like Shadow on that one, if I am gonna nightstalk for them, it will probably be in the summer where the weather is tolerable. And I bet it wouldn't take too much talking to get Randy up there with yall.
That was my first experience at a night stalk. I rather enjoyed my anchor rope freezing stiff and my gloves sticking to them. I did see and hear something else I have never experienced in over 40 years on the water...Quote:

Have you guys heard about the new pocket device that keeps sketters away? My cousin in West Virginia uses one when he sits in his deer stand and says they really work. Kind of puts up a 15 sq. ft. area around the user and he says no skeeters at all. The thing has a pad insert and runs on a cylinder of gas of some some sort. They sell for about $30 and could be worth the money for nightstalking or just night fishing. Cabella's catalog has em.
Thermocell. Yeah I have a couple of them and they work like a dream. They are great to have in the summer.Quote:

I think I'm going to get one since the darn skeeters love to feast on me.
Hey Titleman, thanks for getting us some pictures. Next time, my job will be to take lots of pictures. I guess that I'd better bring a box of batteries so that I don't have electronic malfunction again.
And to everyone, don't hestiate to head back out there to Conway. There is some really good fishing back in there. Now you all know where to go and what brushpiles to fish....so get with it!:D
