No deer pics yet? WTH?
Not quite! Here's my son's deer on the last day of muzzle loading season. It's an eight point with 2 kickers to make a 10 point. He is in pre rut with a swollen neck. One point is on the back side of the right beam and not seen here. sorry!

Been too hot here, can't get fired up when its that hot. went monday afternoon for the first time this year, been in for a month now. plus the crappie are biting!
I went twice last year rained both times. I'm going Friday morning with my son. He promise's me I'll see deer at my box stand. Certainly hope so. I have that urge to squeeze the trigger after seeing his deer Monday. Maybe a little jealous too! :dono:biggrin
I have hunted a lot in the low country. Family there and times they have land access. Was supposed to make it back this year after a 5 year drought, but now not sure after Mathew. Hit their area pretty hard. But hoping and also understand if it dont just work out.
Huntinslabs you got until Jan first to make it up here. Things ought to be a lot better by then. I am no physically able to hunt so it don't bother me

Hey HS, I quit deer hunting several years ago, just shoot (at) a dove or two now. Before I found this forum I was on the scoutdoornews.com forum and 90% of their post is about hunting, deer, Turkey, and hog. Some good guys on there too. Only problem is Parks, who is the owner, doesn't police some of the political and snarky posts like Slab and I just have to shake my head and move on. But there is a good bit of info about deer hunting there if you want to have a look. It is strictly a South Carolina forum as far as where they hunt.
I think I've asked you before, but aren't you in the Deland area? One of my closest fishing buddies lives there.
Hopefully I'll have a picture for you tomorrow. If not I still have Saturday.:biggrin

Here's mine for the year. I already posted up the bucks, but the doe came last Thursday. My daughter is getting submersed in this hunting and fishing lifestyle. Pretty sure she's gonna be on my heels soon!!!

Derek those are 2 nice bucks especially the one on his left. I went Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon didn't see a thing. BUT i did hear a donkey both evenings. lol!!

Nice pictures Billy! You better keep your brother away from your house! We had one at my brother in laws last year and we watched it for a few hours in the yard and it walked out of sight and Yep! A neighbor on the back property line shot it. I told him not to hunt in the back yard and kill the pets. But what can you do? It was legal season and his yard!:mad:
