Looking for some new line since I have started spider rigging. Overwhelmed by all the choices. looking for something in the 12 to 14 pound range for my main line. Looking for a line with low memory and all around good line. Any suggestions

I personally use the vicious 6 lb yeller line for every thing. I do not use a heavier main line.
I do not spider rig. My mind says use a 6-8 Lb. braid, for it's thin diameter to cut the water, then a 4Lb. fluorocarbon leader. just my 2 cents worth.
I started using the Cajun line in 15 pound. I really do like how it is holding up
I had in mind like a 10 to 12 main then a 6 or 8 leader that way I can bend my hooks out of
snags.
Use 6-8 Hi Vis. Trust me it's a lot less frustrating having a rig break than it is breaking a pole

I've caught fish on all three, so the main line hasn't seemed to make much difference ... as far as color/diameter. The leaders are either clear/blu or hi-vis (chartreuse) and that hasn't seemed to make any difference, either.
If you are simply going to "spider rig" .... I'd fill the reels with cheap bulk line, then finish off with "good" line of a length that will meet your most extreme depths (or trolling distance, if you longline or pull/push cranks). That's referring to using baitcast reels, of course. Spinning reels need only be filled with whatever "main line" you decide upon.
FWIW ... the reels with Dacron & Maxima main lines are not filled totally with those lines (as the lo-vis braid reel is) ... they have braided lines filling most of the spool & topped off with the Dacron & Maxima. The Dacron line is over 40yrs old, and the Maxima is probably over half that old ... and both are still performing very well.
I don't know how big the crappie get in your part of the country but 14# seems a bit much. Usually a 10# Main line with a 6# or 8# leader works pretty good. Hi-Vis P-line or Vicious for your main line with an 8# clear leader should serve you well.

I have been using Mr. Crappie 8# test for just about everything and it has been great. Even pulled cranks with it.
I really like the sufix elite. If you buy it by the big spool it is very cheap for what you get. I paid 8.99 for a 1000yds of 4lb on ebay the other day. I prefer it over the vicious it is a little rounder and the way they spool it you get less memory on the reel. I had a 10lb carp on the other day and i cinched the drag down till the line was making those pinging noises when it pulled and i got it in the boat. Dont see much need for higher pound test. Think about the size of the hook you are pulling on.
It is available in hi viz as well although i have only seen it in the 330 yard spool in those colors.
I use 8 lb on my trolling rods and 6 lb on my jigging rods both in hi vis
If you're using 10# mono, buy a bulk spool of Berkley Big Game in the hi-vis solar collector color and you'll be set. I use it for most of my mono needs from crappie to grouper and everything in between. Less than 10#, I've been using Vicious with great results for the last 2 years.
I don't spider rig .i do long line 6-8# hi-vis Mr crappie I like it ! Mr crappie 4# shooting docks if it's fresh line it's some of the stoutest I have ever used.
Alright after a few hours of poking around the web I'm have decided to order a spool of pline cx premium. It's a copolymer line that's floro coated. Only thing I'm a little concerned about will be the knot slippage. When I get the line and use it a few times I will give some feedback on the line
I used Mr. crappie Hi-Viz 6lb for spider rigging and 8lb for pulling cranks. The 6lb will straighten out hooks on jigs and the 8lb is plenty tough enough for cranks. I only broke off 2 crankbaits all year and that was my fault for not re-tying.
I use 2-10 spider wire for my spider rigs with 2' of 6lb suffix leader. tangerine
I have 2 poles with small diameter Braid on spinning reels and like and Hate the stuff at the same time. the poles are 11 feet set up for spider rigging so small weights are on the main line with no leaders --- when setting hooks the Braid will tie loop Knots around the sinkers above the hooks and make snarls that will not untangle.. Reriging is always going on with Braid ---- My other 4 poles use 12 # Florocarbon. If the crappie are tight Lipped the Catfish are willing and they get way bigger
I have tried them all and the best I have used is the Mr. Crappie 4 & 6 lbs test.
Power pro braid on main line, won't have to change for many years, if ever. I put a little quick change KVD snap at end and hook to my home made C&C rigs, I make them out of a spool of fluorocarbon 10lb. with a 3way swivel at the top. I make several snap-leader-hooks out of 6lb up to put on the 3-way if I want a 2 hook rig, or fish with just one. I usually make up the C&C rigs with a big swivel under the egg so I can snap the bottom hook or jig on it also. Makes rerigging a broken leader easy.

I have tried alot of different lines recently and the only line i will get from now on is izorline. this line was by far better than anything else i tried. I am relly liking the hi viz yrllow i have almost got it on all my reels now.

No I never got the line. I made a trip to bass pro with intent of getting some but guess what they didn't have it. So I just stuck with what I had been using. Now here in Indiana boating season is all but done. one could prob make one last trip this weekend but the wife has other plans for me this weekend. But I'm sure this spring I will get a spool and give it a go

I have switched to 10/20 braid for most of my fishing. Works great, except with closed face spinning reels. Throws a mile & you do not have to change out regular. 4/5 years.
I own a zebco slingshot 202 with its standard 8lb line, I'm looking for a new line since I fish from a pier so I was thinking 10lb fluorocarbon line or what do you all suggest.

Also, when looking up the Slingshot 202 spincast outfit ... it states the reel is spooled with 10lb mono (but does not identify brand of line). Any reel pre-spooled with unidentified line likely has the cheapest line available on it ... so I always take that line off & replace it.
On that size spincast reel, I'd probably be using no more than 6lb test. I currently use Vicious Panfish hi-vis 6# test on most of my casting outfits (spinning reels).
Sorry gave bad info, I have a spinning reel not sure what type of line just know its 8lbs. Well the pier in lake casa blanca Laredo, TX is 6 to 7 feet from pier to water and 8 to 9 feet to reach the bottom. We can fish good size crappie and well the big ones tend to break my line, the occasional bass, stripper, carp, and catfish too since I'm to high up from the water and was hoping to have a line strong enough to withstand and sensitive enough to feel when they bite.
