Fall camp fishing info?

Oh almost got everything ready to leave here Tuesday after lunch. Still have to finish up filling the boat up with Dynamite. Can't catch fish just toss one of the red sticks and fish float to the surface. That or the old 5 bar Phone will call them up. But I always get a wring number..:pray

Anyone catching fish this past week? Or over the weekend care to share how and with what? Would we be better off spider rigging or pulling crank baits? Single pole fishing school bus's?
I plan on bring the rods to spider rig, Side pull and pull crank baits. Hope we can catch fish spider rigging or side pulling. We have fished part of one day on Enid. so I know nothing about it. I have been on Sardis Lake Single pole fishing a lot. And may well just run up there one day. And fish Coontown hear there catching some nice ones off the standing timber there.

I hope Marilyn can at least catch a lot of short fish. Fish is fish and as long as she enjoys it, I'm happy. With the year she has had a good fishing trip might help her out.

I know it would be 2 weeks old but I did pretty good last weekend pulling cranks in 18-25 fow.

if your gonna be spider rigging with minners you better take plenty out there with you.

No doubt and if all you are catching is shorts, move. Move out to a little deeper water and fish a little deeper

Have a question on baits? I see its 2 hooks per line? Does that mean if I were to be pulling crank baits, could I only pull one? Being there 2 hooks per bait? Or does it not matter on how many hooks a bait has? Say if a person was fishing for bass or crappie. Using a Al rib with 3 or more hooks. Would that be legal?
Want to make sure I don't mess up and do something wrong.

Crank bait is considered one bait or hook. Can pull crank with jig up the line or pull 2 cranks at the same time. A rig with 3 would be illegal.

Coming down We'd afternoon staying into the evening for awhile then coming down Thursday afternoon for awhile. Got to be up here to pick Becky up at airport Friday afternoon. Then coming back down Saturday for the day. Really haven't made any plans for fishing with my messed up schedule this week. Dr. This afternoon and in the morning.

If your wanting just to catch I can help you on Sardis, I will pm you the two colors of cranks been working for me last week or two, and they are particular. We did good on cranks Sunday before last (12 keepers, 75 short, lost two nice ones at the boat), I went out Friday and caught a lot of shorts (22 shorts, 1 keeper) couldn't get back where I wanted due to wind when I got there.. single poling sardis is good to just a lot of trees to jig, ain't nothing, but sometimes in windy conditions hard to keep two in the boat single poling properly and move like you need to. Anyways, your in good hands it seems, but I will still PM you those magic colors tomorrow when I get to the shop. :-)

I here you buddy. Don't let me forget I have you something behind the truck seat. Not sure if you need anymore of the stuff I had for you last time. This you will have to cut out the sizes you want. But there's enough to make a dozen or more of the small ones easy. Or you can get some 3 or 4" sizes out of one of them easy. And should be able to get 4 out of it.

That would be great, as I have thought about running up to Sardis. Buddy of mine told he to head to Harmontown or Coontown and they were hitting in the trees. Single pole fishing. Love to fee that thump on tree fishing. But I just like fishing.
