Minners At Sardis

Been up to Sardis a few times lately and have been pleasantly surprised, the size is good, not the little bitty minners I have seen up that way most of the time. Price is not too bad either with a good count at both the Dam Store and Rite Mart (old Hearn's location) which opened the first of September.
I try to support the local bait shops around each of the lakes when fishing them, only way they can stay open, and its pretty nice not to have to haul minners from home to fish.
Get plenty of bait, dudes are hungry at Sardis, lot of 10 to 11 inch fish and a pretty good ration of keeper fish.
Remember that we will be at The Dam Store for registration in the morning from 530 till 615, see y'all there.

What size minners you buying? I bought 5 dozen last Saturday and got about 10 dozen, lol. Had a lot of smalls mixed in with my mediums, figured that's why they gave me so many. I'm heading out in a minute, be to windy this weekend for my little 16' tin can on the big lake :dono

Good advice RG. Also stock up on a few other snacks and essentials. There isn't a very big profit margin on bait.

Haven't been in the new store yet. I go to the Dam Store. Mike has always been good to us.

Yep, just stopped at the Dam Store. Friendly folks for sure, said they will be ready for ya'll. Got fresh minners coming this afternoon and will have plenty of biscuits.

Lol, wish I could help.. tough day for sure. Caught 23 had to cull 22 of them due to issues with... ummmm size... I turned my only 13 incher lose at beach point, he was still swimming around the ramp after I turned him lose, looked cornfused.. maybe you can net him in the morning [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23] [emoji23]

Tuff is a pretty good word, 2 teams had 5 fish and it went down from there
