I lost a friend yesterday. Don't know all the details but there was a boating accident and he was thrown from the boat and was NOT wearing his life jacket. I believe his daughter was with him, she survived but is in ICU. My friend, Lee Kibodeaux, was not as lucky. He had a rough younger life but had got his life straightened out and was doing great. He loved to fish but the simple act of NOT wearing his PFD cost him his life. Please keep the family in your prayers.:pray

Was that the wreck at the entrance to Willow Lake? I remember there were obstructions there.

I learned a tuff lesson myself this weekend. Stuck my boat in 3" of water in a canal on the backside of Murphy Lake in Indigo around Pigeon on a sandy bottom. Thank the Lord, I slid instead of coming to a sudden stop because I was wide open. I wear a jacket everytime I am in the spillway and have been through the same canal 100 times. Took 6 hours and Iberville Sheriff to get my boat out.
