Hi Mark
I usually mix up a gallon of gas with sea foam and do a decarb every spring then a can in the tank maybe once or twice a year. Motor is 25 years old and still running strong. Never had any problems related to fuel or compression.
We use Marine Stabil in every tank. Also stabil in lawnmower gas at end of year.
I use it a couple times every year. 91 Yamaha 150hp, 2 stroke still runs great.
Use a can with every fill up 50 merc 4 stroke
Add it to every tank. No issues.
Use it in the boat gas truck gas and truck oil when it is time to change it. Everything still works like it should and no problem with water in the gas
every oil change at 3000 miles
Good stuff Mark. I use it in the boat every other fill up. And in the truck and car about 3-4 times a year.
If you use it in your oil add about 1/2 can to a 5-6 quart oil pan about 100 miles before your oil change.
Caution though. If your internal engine is really sludged up I wouldn't do it. This stuff will loosen all the sludge and send it to the pan and plug up the pump screen.
I use it in all my stuff! Boat, truck, car, lawnmower, weedeater, chainsaw! I also put Stabil in the gas for the boat, it doesn't hurt!
Have had two boats both with 90 Merc two strokes and I have always used it NO ISSUES! also use it in weed eater and mower and both run great.
The only time I had a seafoam issue is when I did not add it, per a buddy questioning me using it in my boat all the time. So that winter I didn't add it and the next spring my boat was in the shop for the first time ever getting the carb rebuilt/cleaned. I proved my point to him, but it cost me. LOL
I use it each time I fill up the boat.
