I do t know what this board is so slow, but it's always been like this. It picks up for a little while and then just dies back down. I wish it would pick up and stay that way!

I don't understand it either, always been slow. I always check here though. It's unfortunate it's that way.
Well................the weather is a chaingin' and I ain't got to mow so much.............soooooooo, maybe things can pick up a little if I can get my kayak outa storage
and back on the water. Been too long since I stank up some grease with fresh crappies. Really need to restock the new fridge freezer just in case company comes a
callin'. Since a can't win the lottery, I'm expectin' more luck with the fishin'. Maybe by the time Skip gets my new jigs in the mail, I can get the kayak down from
the rafters and back on the trailer.
I am a new member from Texas, but also new to crappie fishing

That other fishing forum in Texas is the problem
I've been on that other fishin' forum and like this one much better. I'm not complaining, but the other forum is much looser language wise and that is one reason I
prefer this one. Not everyone thinks that way, but like some say.........it's the way I roll. Thanks Randy. When you have a great thread like the Louisiana thread,
it's easy to go there. This one has always (in my time) been slow.
Several of the Dfw lakes are flat out on fire with crappie yawl . Worth has been better than I ever seen it for size ....Bridgeport is lit up as well ....Weatherford and old Benbrook are on and it dont get much better ....here tell Lavon and some of the others are just the same .....Proctor is hot and I bet Leon as well .....go get ya some and show me ....and for sure KABOOM from Ketchn :ThumbsUp
ANY REPORTS ON FORK?
I have not heard but I know Palestine is on ......
RetiredRR is right, the Texas fishing forum is where most of the crappie fishing in Texas is talked about. I read it pretty regular (and post some) but I like this better also, especially the panfish section. I like reading about the fishing from all over the country and seeing the pictures from other places. That guy ledhed from California is driving me crazy with the bream he is catching. And without stepping on anybody on the other forum, there is a lot more advice on crappie.com and a whole lot of just chatter on the other one. (No offense to anyone over there.)
Good advice is always appreciated. Helps fill the freezer too.
Had a couple of good days last weekend on Livingston. Attachment 251204
I have been on both boards for a pretty long time now and have pretty much stop posting at all on the crappie board at TFF and only post some on the Jig tying board. Use to be very active over there, but just got tired of all the BS and cliquish activity. When I was starting out tying it was very hard to get anyone to even look at your jigs if not one of their friends and back then only a couple of us tying at all. Didn't matter if your jigs were actually tied better and looked better, you had to be their friend! I have a few friends over there and just spend most of my time here. Have always enjoyed it here and the people are so much friendlier where over there it can get pretty dicy pretty quick! Also your right, when it comes to info and help this place is so much better!
