Great trip and the temps are getting right.
That's a typical White Oak trip right there with 1 white crappie and 14 black crappie. Not many whiteys in there. White Oak crappie are always colored up beautifully! GTT

Yep, he says "some folks gotta work" to me a lot. Dad went squirrel hunting one cool morning last week and killed 8 by 9 o'clock. Glad he's enjoying retirement! He earned it after teaching high school math for 33 years. GTTQuote:

He always shows me up. He's not as fast as he used to be, but he is smarter than me and does things more thoroughly than I do. He's definitely a better man than I am. I try, though. He will share the fish with me if he doesn't give them away to his neighbors and friends. He keeps all the older people in the neighborhood in fish when he can. I did get an invite on the fried squirrel, mashed potatoes, biscuits & gravy supper last week. Mom has always been great at frying squirrel! She had a lot of practice when I was growing up.
