So, it begins.....

After a long hot summer of restless nights waiting on the fall bite , I find my self waking at 1:30 ready to fish. Cuzz will be my pardnr today arriving at 3 am to head out. I have scouted the whole lake this week and realize that I'm early in my quest . Only two spots outa many are holding fish already.
This venture will be one of scouting and fishing also being my lil buddy Taylor will be rolling in sat morning for a day of fishing and dove shooting. I have lost my boys to college for the moment so I borrow others to fish with in the meantime. Our bible study begins a ministry next month speaking at our local school to a group of unchurched, and troubled teens. I plan to speak my turn on fishing and the lord. I hope to develop a friendship with a few fatherless boys that I might mentor them in the ways of the lord and teach them the art of fishing.
So be in prayer that I might reach out to some kids in need and bring them into our fold. Tight lines .....pics to follow.Attachment 248470herea a pic of Taylor from a tournament we won earlier in the year.

Wish you all the success you expect 10 fold. If you can turn 1 soul around from a dark path which they are heading, then you and your bible study group will have achieved success. Praying that ya'll can get through to many. May you be blessed for taking your time teaching them about fishing and the outdoors. You serve the Lord well.

Yes work ethics should be impressed on these youths also. I'm not sure I'll be that involved with them but if so . Then I will teach them some of that also. Both my sons go to college yr round and work as much as they can so I believe in good work habits.
