Nice color. Never seen that exact combo. Care to share the recipe. Thanks!!
No black light or photo effects fellas that's just the way they looked outside the garage at 7pm sunset. The recipe for this is no secret. It's just plastic with violet hi-lite. This batch I made different and added UV powder and sparkle violet flake. The UV is what is making it pop with little sunlight. Different lighting makes it look different. Sometimes it's purplish, sometimes its whitish, sometimes its bluish/greenish and other times it glows.
Here is a pic this morning compared to last years X-Killer.

That's cool, color changing!
The bottom one in the above picture is what you better allot of extra. You bringing your boat down?
The bottom and the right bait are my 2 baits I fish with 99% of the time. Yes I'll have my boat and wife with me.
I'll get with you and put you on some piles to fish. This time of year brush is the key. If you don't know the lake well you can sure spend allot of time scanning looking for those places.
Sounds good. I've only fished it twice so I'm new to it.
Well 2 days shy of 40 and finally bought my 1st black light ever. Could only find a flourecent twist bulb. In pic is new x-killer and old x-killer. Nothing new here just showing the effect of UV and non UV.

That uv in plastics really makes a difference.
Thanks Doc. Your baits always look great. Post #10 bottom looks like it has some glow powder unmixed. Very interesting effect. I have been using blast Uv and fixing to order some liquid UV from spike it. I use glow and UV in all my baits except black. I fish Barkley and Ky and Barkley is usually stained. Makes a big difference.
Thank you. I believe that is just the effect of the hi lite you're seeing. I don't use glow though I have a bag of it hanging in the shop. The UV is only about a bb size or so added to the plastic. The brighter bait in the black light pic is because they were closer to the black light. I don't add UV to my black either nor my pumpkin. Don't like the bluish hue it gives it. The more UV you add the worse the bluish hue.
