Need comments and ideas reference a slabtogether :fish in October...Maybe Monroe or Harney...they both seem to be producing.
Keep in mind the Mims Mullet Festival is 10/1:yikes.....Not that it matters but I'll be out of town 10/15:scratchhead.... That leaves 10/8, 10/22, 10/29
Any thoughts or ideas or comments?
Either park would be good. I would like closer to end of month just in case.

Only plus to Monroe is bathrooms and more pavillions. But if we dont start getting more rain Harney might be out simply due to access to lake at the mouth.
Trying to be nice last weekend I went slow so's not throw everyone fishing at the mouth around. I wound up running aground and having to tilt and idle quite a ways before the depth got right. This past weekend I went thru on plane and turning without issue. We could stand some rain.
On call October 1st,2nd & 29th, 30th.
If there is any chance at all of me attending you can bank on me being there 👍
$50 gift card to either big fish or big stringer or to be determined awarded by those hosting the event, by Dririte USA.
With or without me in attendance.

Still waiting for more input, but I'm leaning toward Saturday, October 28th @ Lake Monroe park.... I ain't about to have it on a day where the door prize donor can't be there. Also, I'm sure we can muster up some more prizes as well as a hoopty jar.....maybe keep it affordable....$5.00 per person and $5.00 big fish with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place pay out.

OK...I put it down on paper and it just ain't gonna workout....the ones that can't make it are the MAIN supporters of our get-to-gethers and I wouldn't want to plan it without a single one!....and every weekend a different legend has plans including me on the 15th......so there's always NOVEMBER!
That's not to say any Saturday in October someone can put an invite out like HS does and those that can will be there.....I'll be there and if I can't make it, I'll hand off the scales....If we have a fruit jar or something.

I will be gone weekend before Thanksgiving. But if one falls when I cant make it, it will be fine. I know the pains.

I know some people have church and family day on Sunday but it may work if everyone has
plans on Saturdays. I think Anchorman goes to church on Saturday night so he can fish Sunday mornin.:biggrin

I'm just waiting to see where it ends up. My schedule has been better lately but one never knows. End of November is out for me as I'll be out of town. Looking forward to it.

I may have messed up again!!!! November 5th is same day as the Talquin event.... Not sure if anybody from our area is planning on going.... Hope this doesn't cause too much of a conflict
