Somewhere Mike Iconelli is beating his head against his boat for you killing his bass.
Green carp have been a staple on my family's table for generations. I may not keep all I catch but I do keep several.
I cook what I catch and as you can see I love to grill them. I try to stay away from fried food not successful all the time but oh well.
Nice catch and looks delicious. Going to try stripers next week and see if I can catch a couple for grilling
Just remember 10 minutes per inch thickness. I grill 6 minutes first side 4 minutes second side stick to this times most of the times. I oil my fish with olive oil really good then season like I want. I like cajun seasoning, old bay seasoning, and lemon seasoning with salt and pepper.
We just kept a couple nice largemouths and baked them with butter, lemon and old bay,my boy loves them baked like that.Growing up my dad was a smallmouth fisherman and we were alway keeping and eating some of them,I think they taste pretty good.
It won't hurt that head!!
Keep eating those Green Carp (Bass) they are Crappie eating machines . :fish
