Sold what I had because they never seemed to "out produce" my regular baits. Tried them at night even and they glo good but not much fishing catching action for me.

Lot of stuff out there like that, bout decided to sell my Bandits, only time I have used em is when I loose an Arkie thats producing and need something close.

Nothing wrong with the colors of any of these I have, just don't use em. Too many choices gives me a head ache.
I've had good days on the glow colors. Like the rest of them, nothing works every time.
Don't doubt that, fact is the baits you catch the most on are the ones you use, ifn they aren't in the water they won't catch any. I use pank rarely and know folks that don't use anything else. I didn't have confidense in them and sold them at a time when they were going a couple bucks higher than the others, replaced em with regular bandits.Quote:

I've got some glow cranks and hardly ever used them. But one day I took a friend fishing where I'd been wearing them out previously but the bite was almost non existent. Then I remembered an article I read about using glow jigs in heavily stained water and on a cloudy day, which were the conditions for that day. So out of desperation I did a wholesale change out to nothing but glow cranks. We immediately started catching crappie and wound up with a pretty good mess of nice ones. Now the question is, did they just start biting or was it the glow plugs? I can't say for sure, but I have tried them on other days with similar conditions and not gotten the same result. However, I do use them more often now than I used to and catch fish on them, but I can't say that it's because they glow or that they've ever been the distinctive bait of choice by the crappie as I can about Orange Crush or Black and Bubble Gum at times. I also might mention that they may be discontinued, but I just got some from Grizzly Jig recently.
You can believe what I tell you. My 2 catfish so far trolling says I'm no expert but maybe you should have changed back to what you were using to see if the bite stopped. Don't know how many lines you had out but maybe just changed out a couple to see the results. One thing I do know is that when you're catching, and this goes for any type fishing, is hard to go back to something that wasn't working.
