Fish or junk in the water?
I have a Garmin also, I'm no expert but usually when I see what you're seeing in pics 2,3, and 4 I put my baits at that depth or slightly above and start catchin fish. As far as the vertical lines it could be your sonar picking up air bubbles coming off the bottom, If you change your chart speed and the line becomes more vertical at slower speeds and more horizontal at higher chart speeds then that's more than likely what you're seeing.

I'd say picture one (the streaks) are fish either moving closer or farther from the transducer quickly. The closer to the ducer, the shallower they look in the cone. The farther from the ducer the lower they look in the cone. That's why larger stationary fish make an arch. When the cone first hits them they are in the edge of the cone. The closer you get to the fish the higher the mark gets. When you get to the top of the arch you're either directly over the fish or as close to them as you can get on that path. When the cone starts moving away from the fish, it completes the arch. The streaks are probably feeding fish chasing a meal. (The fish are moving faster than the cone). The squiggly lines in the bait on 2-3 are probably white bass or maybe cats feeding in the bait. I seen that image a lot on the big 4 and usually catch whites when I see it. Definitely lots of bait in 2-3-4
When slow trolling over stationary fish, the mark looks more like a straight line because the transducer makes multiple pings on the same fish very quickly. No quick change from the ducer as you move slowly over them.
