Life sucks

So Thursday I got off work early but was in no hurry to get home. I visited with a friend before leaving work and got paperwork faxed. I go my Wal-Mart before I go home. I get home around 5 and a damn theif has taken my air conditioner out of window, gone in my house and broke the tv trying to get it off the wall. Has ransaked the bed rooms and has stolen my bow ( that one case had over $3000 worth of items in it.) My laptop, Mike's tablet, daughters iphone, and my camera with over a years worth of memories. This happened on the 11th was already sad, was looking at 3 months of Mike being gone. What would have happened if I had gone straight home and been there when it happened. I have a picture of the guy taking my air conditioner, so hopefully sheriff's office can find him.

Some iphones can be tracked with GPS. I don't know how, but you may ask others how it can be tracked. I have a daughter and a grandson that was robbed and they the Sheriff dept. never found nothing out about it but they didn't have pictures of the criminal like you do. Hope you catch that thief.

So sorry Barbie. Hate that it happened. Don't say life sucks, there are many good things too, think of all your friends. Somehow, some way, something good will come of this.

I know we all hate criminals with a passion, but please lets not take this thread in the wrong way. Lets just leave it on "as positive of a note as we can" otherwise I know it will not end pretty. Already seen (and removed) some not good posts.

Just want you to know that our family have been and will continue to be in prayer for God to grant you the physical, emotional, and spiritual strength you need each day. While a thief can take the things which help recall memories, they cannot steal your heart/soul where these treasured memories are beautifully housed and safely stored. These are in your human safe and only you have that combination. Best wishes.

Donnie is right Barbie....and as someone else said....they cannot steal your memories as they are in your heart and mind.

Mrs. Goodtime, stay on top of the sheriff's dept. File your report, insist on meeting with the detective working your case, insist on seeing recovered evidence from the evidence locker so you may recognize your items if any are there, personally meet your detective every 8 days or so, make the rounds of the localpawn shops and tell them what happened so they can be on the lookout for your items. This will help you in your closure and will let the department know that you mean business and expect some work on their part. I went through this in March. GCSDEPT. has good helpful folks but it doesn't hurt to prod them along. Remember, they serve us.

Yes they can be replaced if I could afford to replace them. What they took was over $5000.

I fully believe that Mike delayed me, I was talking to a friend at work about Mike. It was fixing to be 3 months of him being gone and his birthday is coming up. He is still watching out for me. I'm just so frusterated by all of this. I know that God will not give me more than I, with his help, can handle. Just gotta believe.

I am sorry for your problems and struggles, sometimes life can certainly be challenging. I would encourage you to look at a scripture that God inspired Paul to write in the new testament, study it and understand exactly what it means and hold on to it in your heart. Philippians 4:13

You are absolutely right that He will not give you more than you can handle. One of the things that has always truly amazed me about this life is how hard a low life will work to avoid having to work. Take a deep breath Barbie and look to heavens and try to find some relief in knowing you have lots of friends who support you all across this country and/or in the fact that there will come a day when this person (this thief) (and all of those like him) will long for a drop of water dripping from the fingertips of you and all of those that they stole from. His judgment is already following his every footfall for the rest of his days. I know it's hard, but remember to pray for them... for there is surely coming a day when they will stand before their Maker clothed only in filthy rags... lest they turn from their wicked and evil ways and find the Way; the Truth; and the Life.

He looks older than a teenager. My guess there is at least a 1/2" file on him with fingerprints. The fact that is not wearing gloves and if he ransacked your home, his prints should be everywhere. Very sorry...

I'm very sorry to hear of this Ms Goodtime. I know when I've been faced with things like this I have to fight what we call at our house "stinkin thinkin". You know what I'm talking about, you just start dwelling on the negative things until you're over whelmed with despair, which never leads to anything good. Years ago I learned to fight this off by memorizing Isaiah 26:3 "Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." It's never made sense to me why bad things happen to good people, but it does. However, it's what we do next that says a lot about us. I'm confident the Lord will see you through this, and I'm praying for you that he does. God Bless.

Can't stand a dang thief. Sorry to hear about this. I wish you would have gotten a head shot---with your pistol.

I always feel more comfortable with my dogs in the house. They won't deter everybody I'm sure...but if a thief is not to serious about what house to rob he is going to pass up a house with a couple dogs throwing a fit inside.

Life is hard...it is...the stories some people can tell about their life experiences is just amazing. I get so my chin is dragging something fierce...I don't like the way things have gone. I just have to tell myself that I can do something to help make things better for others even if things ain't going the way I want for me.
