I know it may sound like it's no big deal, but he's only 13 years old. Won't be going to high school.

He tested out of high school?? Holy cow! That's definitely a big deal! Congrats to him. Hope he does well! I remember back in college, I had a professor that moved fast. He was telling us a story about once traveling for some type of conference (after he had his PhD)... he thought it was funny that people called him "Dr.", but he wasn't old enough to rent a car when he got there. :) Guess it's a trade off for 'smarts'. lol
great
What an accomplishment! Congratulations to him!
He must get it from Ann :biggrin
My daughter raised him well, just as Ann and I did with her. A solid STEM education is what our nation needs, and that's what we did. I taught him how to play chess when he was six years old. Learned it in one afternoon. He now can beat his mother, but not me - as long as I limit the Miller Light consumption :).
great story Randy....we proud with you....
Congrats are in order.
"gene"
Congrats, that is a cool story!
Will they let him go back for the senior prom? Congrats to the young man. Not many have what it takes to advance like that. Not many are willing to take that giant step.
Congrats..... Not many parents put an emphasis on academics nowadays. It's about sports. Tallassee is a baseball town with alotta daddy ball going on. Lol. We sent our son to a Christian school that had prayer and an excellent academic program and it really paid off. Glad to hear your story, congrats again.
Congratulations
Man that is awesome Randy! Congratulations to him and your family for raising him right!
Congrats Randy with your daughter to be passed on down to him.

Thanks fellas. Both my kids are highly educated and disciplined, hopefully that will pass on to my grandchildren. Which I believe it has thus far.
Here he is after a youth tournament I took him to in Henderson five years ago:

Thought I'd share.
I apologize. Thought I had commented on this before. That is outstanding for the youngster. Hope he becomes whatever he dreams and is the best at it. Congrat's to him and all of you.
His mother, our daughter, on the way to a wedding yesterday. I like that picture she sent. Thought I'd share. Not many Chemical Engineers look like this:

It's apparent she obtained her intelligence and her looks from me. Except for my blue eyes :).
You right about that Randy....I have worked with many Chemical Engineers but none as beautiful as she is....
She's beautiful.......sorry but do not see you there, thank goodness lol....see a lot of Ann tho
