Wifey is the best. She even scheduled us a fishing trip together with "Sailors Choice" for Friday. Anyone fish with them before? Just askin' don't figure anyone has that will read this in time. Kinda neat. On our honeymoon we went fishing too. Fished for Marlin off Mai (30 years ago), and I hooked one too. Fought it for prolly less than 15 minutes and it felt like my arm was gonna fall off. Ended up getting off but still something I'm never gonna forget. Fishing with wifey again 30 years later. Nothing better.

There is sooo much great bottom fishing in the keys, I have no doubt you will have a great day. Nice thing is a very short run to fishing grounds. I went out in Marathon and in 15 minutes we were fishing. Could actually see the sunk ship in 60' below. Not great but could identify the outline. Caught Vermillion snapper as quick as we could rebait and drop back on em. A few Cobia and some fatty groupers as well.Quote:

Except for for the fact that they would not accept my 40 year old PADI liscence and I'm taking the full course and not just the refresher like they said would be fine over the phone. Gewbers everywhere! I'm telling you, I'm beat tired after day one. But it's a good experience, just tiring performing some of the requirements like ten laps in the pool (with like zero practice).
