At what point do you say something to someone interfering with your fishing? Some fine examples
Getting to close
Hey your fishing my dock on a public lake
Someone wakes you from 25 feet away
Wow your catching fish there, let me pull right over your spot, motor over it and fish there too
Cut in line at the boat ramp
The list goes on and on

I myself can not be bothered while fishing, you want to fish my spot, ok with me, you need in front of me in line go ahead.
There ya go, Beagle Man. Life is too short to get aggrevated by other peoples inconsiderate actions. Also keeps you blood pressure down.
My favorite is when cp and i are fishin within 20 feet of each other - thats when i know im in a good spot:biggrin
I use to go down to the Mississippi and fish from the bank quite a bit at a place on an outside bend.It had a hump with rock and the water was pretty turbulent and rough. Well it was a spot I would just go down to get away after work and spend some quiet hours just watching old man river roll by and catch a few catfish. I fished it for years and years,serene and peaceful,and some evenings really catch a lot.
Well about 5 or 6 young men with jet skis figured out it was a fun place to ride because of the turbulence. I would be sitting there fishing.And they would come in directly on my lines and proceed to cut up for an hour or two. And act completely oblivious to me.
Well....I decided that if I ever said anything them boys would just escalate things to a dangerous level. So I just let it go. Time and time again I had to either sit and tolerate it or get up and leave. Thank God they finally quit. As much as a pacifist that I am....I was about ready a few times to show them boys the meaning of respect. They are lucky I didn't come back with my boat and set shallow trot lines loaded with treble hooks all over that hole. Naw I wouldn't really do that....
Some guys will watch you catch fish then try to beat you to the spot the next trip .:popcorn
If they are in paintball gun range they realize they are too close!!!!!
I fish Brewer a lot, which with the good bass fishing and being close to Conway it's a hot spot for young guys with bass boats, my two favorites are idle 60 yards and get right beside me then run 1/4 throttle 50 yards to make the biggest wake possible. Second is come flying in and shut it down 20 yards beside me run to the front of the boat and make 10 casts as fast as they can and repeat #1

I was in Rock Creek a few years back, on Greeson. I had found a bream hole and was wearing them out in the morning. I went back that afternoon and there was an orgy going on in my bream hole. Bout 50 boats and everyone of them had a squealing girl in it. When I pulled my shirt off to join, they started calling me Pops. I have never been so Peed off in my life. DP
I like the ones that karma takes care of! I was fishing a top in grenada lake one day catchin quite a few fish... There was a row of cedar top along a creek bank about 4 foot deep and this ...... fellow from texas came through spider rigging... Now for one he was illegal because at the time there was a 3 pole per person limit and he had 5 poles out. Well he circled me wide once didnt catch a fish while I was catchin fish, so the next circle he got a little closer within about 30 foot or so still no fish for him... well his next pass one of his rods almost touched the back of my boat and I calmly watched as he came beside me all 5 of his rods rolled under his boat because he hit the cedar tops haha he broke off all 5 jigs loaded his rods and left. And never once spoke a word to me after I said hello and waved on his first pass! Now had he been nice and sociable I would have told him to pick up his rods get a jigging rod and pull up beside me! There ant a top in the lake to small for two folks just be nice!
I don't like people that fish close unless they were there first, then they are my best buddy.:biggrin
I don't care if 4lbers are jumping in the boat, I'm not gonna fish on top of nobody, and I expect the same consideration. If a person has a dock and is fishing it, I'm not fishing there. If a person has a dock and is not fishing and tries to run me off, I assume it is a great fishing spot.

Well said Kmag...I believe there are those that give you no choice but to say something to them about their ethics on the water. More times than not folks if asked in a courteous way they will reply with your request.
OK.. here is one I forgot. Your wearing them out, you know three other boats are close enuff to see you wearing them out but yet an acceptable distance away, until they see you wearing them out. Then all of a sudden they boats with complete and utter strangers pull right up to you...and ask hey watch ya catching? what ya using?, how deep? How many Ya Got? and by the way let me way point your spot?. LOL Had this happen to me sooo many times on Lake Beaverfork i pretty much had to quit fishing it.

Well I don't know if this story fits the objective of the thread, but about a month ago as I was walking up the ramp to get my truck and load my boat I noticed my boat trailer LED tail light was hanging down and busted. Obviously someone had hit my trailer and broken it out, and of course I was pissed off and assumed the *hole who did it drove off without leaving a note or taking any responsibility for it. But to my surprise, for 2 reasons, there was a $20 bill on my windshield. One surprise was the guy attempted to compensate me for my loss and the second was that someone else hadn't taken the money before I got there. Now $20 wasn't enough to cover it but maybe that's all he had with him at the time, IDK. At least the guy made an attempt to take responsibility for it so he, who ever it was, gets a pass by me.
Yea if you try to leave a twompski on a car anywhere in little rock for more than a few seconds it will be gone like the passenger pigeon
