Another weekend has come and gone. I got out on Santee on Friday to try my luck and to add some fresh brush to the collection of piles I have. As we all know, it's hot out, but the absence of wind makes it ideal to place brush out on the main lake. I caught a decent limit pretty quick using a combination of jigs and minnows over brush. The majority of the fish came from waters around 20 foot deep. With fish suspended around 14 feet.
