I LOVE TO FISH

I love to fish for Crappie, Catfish & Bream. I love to fish Herb Parsons as well as Sardis. I just love to go. Its relaxing and fun. I like to catch fish but I am fine with a slow bite but prefer a fast bite, so to speak. I just enjoy going! Every trip is a learning experience, plus the most important part--The calming effect of being on the water. All I hear now is the moaning about not catching big fish or many fish. My favorite is justifying the "cost" of going with your fish catch. AM I MISSING SOMETHING? DONT THINK SO!! Just wondering how most folks feel about it.

I'm with you! At the end of a long day not having fish to clean can be a good thing. Just love to go, be out there, try different things, most every thing goes back in. If I had to estimate the cost per lb. of fish I have ate over the past 60 years, I think it would be around $10,000/lb.!!!!:Rofl

I just cried a little......

it's all about being on the water. get sick and tired of listening about slow bites, no fish, dinks,etc. who cares? get a life or take up ping pong.

I love it,TOO!!!!!

After working all week long there is nothing better than getting on the water to clear your head and unwind learn something new and maybe even catch a fish or two!

I think you nailed it. The experience shared among friends and the bonus of a fish justifies all the prep and expense of the gear. Something better........I don't know what it is.

I have the same feeling about it too,I say thank you Lord almost everytime I catch a crappie. I know he hears because I have caught a bunch of em.

I think owning a boat and fishing is the best money I've spent on my health. Also, I don't need a "shrink", cuz I'm as crazy as the rest of you and that puts me in great company. So no moaning from me. If I don't catch a fish I've had a great day, if I do catch a fish or two I have supper. To fish with or meet a fellow CDC member is a bonus and makes the trip twice as enjoyable. If I have one complaint it is that I wish I could do it more often and get to meet more of you.

I love fishing, catching is a bonus. I tried to figure out how much fish actually cost me per pound. I guess I am rich, because it was super high and I keep going. My only complaint is when I bring home more than 15 or so. Makes my hands hurt cleaning them. At least that is not often with me. lol

Fishing is the cheapest form of therapy I've found to date. I need it more than I get it, but that happens when you get a little over the hill. Try not to read anything into this.
Fun is like fishin', it comes in many forms. If you find this confusing, be glad your not in my shoes. Heat affects us in different ways and I've been playin' in the heat for the
past several days.

this is a tough one ....aint "fishing" when you try to ketch a fish ? i find myself trying to define "fishing" ....... :Rofl

Me to just love to go and if possible bring home enough for a meal.

If you want a fan look for a truck or RV fan, I had one on mine for awhile and it helped.

I also love to fish and getting close to retirement I hope to go more often. I have discovered that just the anticipation of going fishing is a large part of the enjoyment, like on Monday morning at work dreaming of the weekend and the fish to be caught. But just being out in Gods beauty , peaceful, is enough without the fish, although like others I love the challenge of figuring out the bite

I like that motto! I can't swear to it but I'm pretty sure that my mouth starts watering the minute I swing that dude in the boat. "Pavlov's Theorem" I guess. I know it works on dogs I think it works on me too. LOL
