My buddy and and I went on a boat ride to scan the Mississippi River. We launched in the white River and boated downstream until we hit the Mississippi River. After hours of scanning and finding som good holes full of fish we put out son poles and had a great time!!! Ended the day with sever BIG catfish. But while scanning......."The Flying Death" harrassed us almost constantly!!! How many jumpers can ya spot n the boat!!!???!!!
Picture didn't come through for me. I am pretty sure one of those things tried to jump into my Toon boat in the Little Rock pool a couple of years ago. DP

We also found some hybrids schooling on the graph. Casted some crankbaits through them and flat smoked em! We didn't stay with em long. The main objective of the trip is to scan and find new places.
Sweet looks like a fun trip on a hot summer day.
That would of been a good time to have on a helmet! Ive had them things jump in the boat, they can sure make a mess.
Flying fish can be dangerous . Would like to fish the mighty Mississippi if I lived closer .
You should come down sometime. We r figuring things out quickly n these deep holes man.
And then carp do make a mess! They start free bleeding and crappie EVERYWHERE!!!! All of my tackle bags looked like they we covered n mud.....and it wasn't mud!
They do make pretty good cut bait though! and If you ever catch em small in a cast net the big cats love em!
Man they make awesome cut bait! Them small ones will b by the thousands down here and when they get in my throw net they are a pain to get out! But they catch fish!
To Hot to wear riot gear, but I would feel safer with it on:biggrin
